Cashew Kitchen is a vegetarian food & lifestyle blog run by me, Agnes Gällhagen. I started this blog in september 2014, with the intention of creating a space that celebrates plant centric food, creativity and sustainable life choices.
To live sustainably, for me, means to be mindful of where I spend my energy. To create pockets of space in my everyday where I can start noticing those little things. To subtract rather than add and enjoy fewer things but enjoy it fully.
Food has always been a source of joy as well as medicine for me. Being creative in the kitchen is my go-to activity whenever I feel lost, down or under the weather. The myriad ways food can be used to promote our wellbeing, spark our creativity and gather as friends around the table is something I’m incredibly passionate about. I used be someone that struggled a lot with food, so I’ve made it my mission to promote inclusiveness and less labelling when it comes to diet.
These values impregnates everything that I create for this site, and by writing about these topics I wish to inspire my readers to live their own glorious, delicious and free spirited lives.

In January 2015 I registered my company and started freelancing as a recipe developer, food stylist, food photographer & content creator. Since then I’ve worked with clients such as FinnCrisp (1, 2), Västerbottensost, Moderna Museet, Lidl (1, 2), Helhetshälsa, Goder Aftonglögg, Saltå Kvarn, Maison Mat og Vin and At The Table.
In October 2016 Cashew Kitchen made it to the finals in the Swedish Food Blog Awards, category Best Photography.
In November 2016 I joined Influencers of Sweden, a business network for social media influencers who’s mission is to promote an ethical, enlightened and financially fair business climate for online publicists. I have also signed their manifesto #JagSmygerInte, an initiative urging us influencers to strictly follow marketing laws and be clear on which of our content is sponsored.
I engage in paid collaborations on my blog, Instagram and Facebook page, with brands and companies that share my values and that I believe can be of interest for my readers. I am very selective with which brands I chose to collaborate with. This is because want to make sure I can stand by their values to a 100% and deliver high quality content that is of great value to my readers, that protects my own integrity and that promotes my clients vision in an authentic and engaging way.
I put a lot of time and effort into creating beautiful imagery, engaging texts and simple yet delicious recipes for my clients. I believe in a thorough and sincere communication, covering the client’s vision, goals and expectations as well as my own. This helps me do a better job and simply makes our collaboration more smooth, fun and successful.
All sponsored collaborations on Cashew Kitchen is marked with the following banner at the top and bottom of each post:
– This post is a sponsored collaboration with company X –
The purpose of this banner is to be completely transparent towards my readers on which content I’ve been paid to create, so that they can choose whether or not they want to take part of the content.
Do you represent a brand or company that might be of interest for me and my readers?
Feel free to contact me and we can discuss a setup for a collaboration. I work with Swedish clients as well as international ones. My company is registered for VAT (moms) and corporate income (F-skatt).
If you want to know more about my stats, audience or different types of collaboration possibilities, we can cover this via email as well.
press gifts and products
I do accept press gifts and I happily try out products that fit into my niche. However, sending out gifts or products does not guarantee exposure on my social channels, as I haven’t been paid to write about them. Neither does compensation in the form of products qualify as payment for sponsored posts.
I do not take responsibility for returning products that have been sent to me without prior agreement.
